Study and pilot experiment of vanadium-free sulfur transfer agents

The sulfur capacity and continuous desulfurization capability of vanadium and vanadium-free sulfur transfer agent were studied in home-made fixed bed instruments and riser of circulating fluidized bed units.The results show that the difference in saturation sulfur capacity and continuous desulfurization capability between vanadium and vanadium-free sulfur transfer agents is small.The vanadium-free sulfur transfer agents have little influence on product distribution,which could substitute for vanadium sulfur transfer agents.
