Observation of clinical effect and immunologic function of Tengling decoction for rectal application on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect and immunologic function of Tengling decoction for rectal application on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.Methods 160 chronic pelvic inflammatory disease patients were divided into 2 groups stochastically,100 patients in treatment group were treated by Tengling decoction for rectal application,and the other 60 patients as the control group were treated by oral administration of Fuyankang and external application of Kangfu Xiaoyan Shuan.The Change of T cell subsets level in peripheral blood for evaluation of the clinical curative effect of two groups and before and after the treatment.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group is 95.0%,and the control group is 80.0%.The level of T cell subsets such as CD4、CD4/CD8 in peripheral blood is high and the level of CD8 is low which compared to before treatment in treatment group(P0.05).The curative effect of the treatment group is better than the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Tengling decoction for rectal application can effectively treat chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,and can improve immunologic function of chronic pelvic inflammatory patients.
