摘要
Objective To investigate the HIV, syphilis and HCV infection among drug addicts in Taishan city and furnish a scientific basis for formulating measures for its prevention and control. Methods Serological detection of HIV, syphilis and HCV were performed for all new drug prisoners in 2010-2012 in Taishan. Results A total of 1 386 drug addicts were tested, in which male was accounted for 94.4% with an average age of (36.1±7.6) years old. The positive rates of anti-HIV, anti-syphilis and anti-HCV antibodies were 5.7% (79 / 1 386), 2.6% (35 / 1 386), and 63.3% (878 / 1 386), respectively. The co-infected rates of HIV+syphilis, HIV+HCV, HCV+TP and HIV+syphilis+HCV infection were 0.3%(4 / 1 386), 5.5%(76 / 1 386), 1.9% (26 / 1 386), and 0.3%(4 / 1 386), respectively. Conclusion The infection rates of HIV, syphilis and HCV are relatively high among drug addicts. Surveillance should be enforced and promotion of knowledge of prevention should to be strengthened among drug addicts. Comprehensive measures should be taken to reduce the risk of spreading HIV among the high-risk population.
