Digital subtraction angiography presage of hemorrhage in cerebral arteriovenous malformation

Objective:To study the correlation between cerebral arteriovenous malformation in DSA with bleeding of AVM.Methods:DSA manifestations in 104 cases of AVM angiography were retrospectively reviewed.Results:AVMs fed by perforators,located in the basal ganglia and post-cranial fossa,with small size,exclusively one draining vein,deep draining vein were moer likely to present with hemorrhage.Conclusion:The AVM bleeding could be predicted by the type of feeding artery,the size and location of cerebral AVM,number of draining vein and venous draining.
