Application of High-pressure Jet Grouting in Xinsha Zone of Guangzhou Port

It is the first time that the method of triple-pipe rotary jet grouting piles was applied in cellular steel sheet pile structure terminal upgrading project in China.Consolidation was achieved on the rear side of the terminal by adoption of triple-pipe rotary jet grouting piles method without damaging existing terminal deck structures or influcing terminal normal producing works.In this project,the port basin was dredged up to the level of-13.5 m,and therefore the bulk cargo termial capacity was upgraded from 35 000 dwt to 100 000 dwt.The experience acquired and construction technology of triple-pipe method during the project construction can provide good proposals for similiar works in the future.
