Simulation analysis on the dynamic characteristics of engine under fluctuant load based on AMESim

According to the study on the operation process of the construction machinery engines under fluctuant load,the simulation model was established based on AMESim software,and the effects of main parameters of the system on the power and economy were analyzed.The simulated engine's power output,average effective pressure and speed,and fuel consumption under fluctuant load were obtained.The results showed that the engine's power output and fuel consumption increased with the increasing of fluctuant load,but the engine speed reduced when the engine load increased.It was reasonable to set engine speed at 85 % of the rated speed.It was also showed that taking the AMESim as a simulation software to simulate the dynamic performance of the engine was effective.
