摘要
Objective To observe the clinical effects and complications after trabeculectomy with the superior fornix-based peritomy by means of sewing the conjunctival flap with interrupted suture and successive whip suture. Methods 20 cases of primary glaucoma patients, which all received combined trabeculectomy surgery with both eyes, were randomly divided into 2 groups.Among them, one group was sewed conjunctival flap with interrupted suture(A group) and another used successive over-and-over whip suture to make the conjunctival flap be a watertight cavity(B group).Postoperative clinical effects and complications were observed. All patients were followed up for 6 months post operation. Results In 1 month postoperation, there was no statistical difference of intraocular pressure(IOP) control in the two groups, and the conjunctival cut leak when pressurized in group A was obvious less than that in group B.In 6 month postoperation, there was no statistical difference of IOP control, but the functional filtration blebs were better in group A than that in group B.Conclusion The successive whip suture was more effective than the interrupted suture in the glaucomatous filtering surgery.
