Investigation on the Heat Transfer Model of the External Heat Exchanger of Circulating Fluidized Bed Boilers

The external heat exchanger is one of the important parts of large circulating fluidized bed boiler.Based on the experimental results and theoretical analysis,a heat transfer model for the external heat exchanger is suggested considering the operation parameters and immersed tube dimension.And the model parameters are also provided.With the suggested model,the heat transfer of the external heat exchangers in a 300 MW circulating fluidized bed boiler was predicted,which was compared with operation date.The prediction agrees well with the practical one with the error of less than 7%.This indicates that the model suggested in this paper is available and reliable.
