Preparation methods of magnesia-alumina spinel powder

The preparation methods of Mg Al2O4 at home and abroad and advantages and disadvantages of these methods as well as their applicable range are summarized. These methods are classified as solid phase method,wet chemical method and combusition sythesis method. It is shown that the development trend of Mg Al2O4 preparation methods is compound methods,namely,to combine two or more ways to prepare Mg Al2O4. In this way,Mg Al2O4 with high performance can be obtained to meet the needs of the traditional industry as well as the high technology field.
