Effects of compound Gouteng Jiangya tablet on hypertension patients with yin-asthenia and yang-hyperactivity laden stasis syndrome and the expressions of Cys C and hs-CRP

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect and mechanism of compound Gouteng Jiangya tablet on hypertension patients with yin-asthenia and yang-hyperactivity laden stasis syndrome.Methods 60 primary hypertension patients with yin-asthenia and yang-hyperactivity laden stasis syndrome were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group and control group were respectively given compound Gouteng Jiangya tablets and Levamlodipine Besylate tablets,lasted for 4 weeks.Changes in blood pressure and related symptoms and signs were observed before and after treatment,the contents of serum cystatin C(Cys C) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein were detected.Results(1) Total effective rates of anti-hypertension in the treatment group and the control group were 80% and 85% respectively,there was no statistical difference between them(P 0.05).(2) There were statistical differences in symptom scores in both groups before and after treatment(P0.01),and integral improvement in treatment group was superior to that of control group.(3) Compared with before treatment,SBP and DBP in both groups reduced markedly after treatment for 2 weeks,3 weeks,4 weeks,respectively(P0.05).(4) Compared with before treatment,Cys C and hs-CRP in both groups were markedly reduced after treatment(both P0.05).However,there were differences between the two groups.Conclusion Compound Gouteng Jiangya tablets could lower blood pressure and improve life quality of hypertension patients with yin-asthenia and yang-hyperactivity hyperactivity laden stasis syndrome,which may be related to the reduction of serum Cys C and hs-CRP.
