Clinical research on treating and nursing osteoporosis in TCM

Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of TCM comprehensive therapy and nursing on treating osteoporosis. Methods: 60 patients was treated by involving magnet therapy, massage, TCM fumigation and oral taking etc. TCM comprehensive therapy and meantime nursing care of mental, daily, health education and therapeutic process were carried out. Results: After three courses of treatment, there were significant differences of pain VAS scores and TCM symptoms scores between pre-therapy and post-treatment, also follow-up and post-treatment. Conclusions: TCM comprehensive therapy and nursing for osteoporosis are effective, worthy of clinical reference.
