Abstract
Objective To observe intraocular pressure(IOP) before and after tropical atropine induced mydriasis in children.Methods IOP was measured in 120 eyes before and 1,3,7,15,and 30 days after administration of tropical atropine.Results Measured IOP were analyzed with chi-square test and the difference in before and after atropine administration was not significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Topical atropine administration will not cause a significant rise in IOP in children.
