Effect of Heat Treatment Temperature on Main Chemical Composition of Bamboo

The changes in the main chemical compositions of bamboo before and after high-temperature heat treatment are studied.The changes in the contents of lignin,holocellulose and α-cellulose of bamboo after 4-hour heat treatment at 60℃,180℃ and 200℃ are analyzed respectively.The research shows that with the rise in the heat treatment temperature,the content of lignin shows an upward trend,the content of holocellulose showing an overall downward trend and the content of α-cellulose also showing a downward trend.Although high treatment temperature can ensure good anti-corrosion performance and stable size,the strength of bamboo is reduced,so it is necessary to choose the heat treatment temperature of bamboo according to the actual needs.
