RNAi Technology and its Application in Cardiac Cerebral Vascular Disease

RNA interference( RNAi) is a phenomenon that specially degrades the corresponding sequence mRNA by the mediate of exogenous and endogenous double-stranded RNA( dsRNA) to induce the post-transcriptional gene silencing. The RNAi process is divided into three stages,namely initial stage,effecting stages and amplification stage. It is an efficient genetic interference technology not only in the biological function such as virus prevention,suppression of transposition,protection of genomic stability,and regulation of gene expression,but also in the medical domain. Here is to make a review of the research progress of its applications in hypertension,cardiomyopathy,heart failure and cerebrovascular disease.
