Analysis of the Correlation of College Students' Coping Style and Self- worth——A Case Study of Guizhou

Coping style and self- worth are important in mental health research and practice. In order to further explore the relationship between them,to provide more theoretical basis of system science for the education of psychological health of college students,especially simple coping style and the self- worth scale,this paper investigates over 600 undergraduates of six colleges and universities in Guizhou province. The results show that college students tend to use negative coping style; coping style was significantly associated with self- esteem; each dimension of coping style is involved in the self- worth of the regression equation and the coping style has significant predictable effects on self- worth dimensions. These results suggest that mental health education should be carried out in appropriate ways to let students learn self- regulation,and enhance their sense of self- worth.
