Abstract
NIRS can achieve qualitative and quantitative analysis of an unknown sample by establishing calibration model.Satisfactory test results can be obtained in the rapid analysis of total phosphorus and total nitrogen in waste water, and also monitoring and analysis of wastewater comprehensive index BOD,COD and pH.These test results have high correlation with the results by national standard method. The characteristics of near-infrared spectroscopy and its application in the field of water quality monitoring are summarized;and the wide prospects and further research fields of near infrared spectroscopy technology in water quality monitoring field are explored in this paper.
