Experimental Study Progress of Chinese Herbal in External Application for Cancer Pain

Objective: To analyze traditional Chinese medicine in the external application of cancer pain of experimental research. Methods: Using external application,Chinese herb,cancer pain as key words,we searched the relevant experimental literature of CNKI database,Wanfang data resource system,VIP database,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database( SinoMed),Pubmed and Ovid database published in 1/1991—10/2013. Results: There were 12 articles including in the study which showed certain effectiveness in Chinese herbal treating with cancer pain. But there were still many problems existing in experimental designing,modeling method,drug quality control,etc. Conclusion: Chinese medicine external treatment cancer pain experiment research should choose appropriate modeling method,drug mechanisms and administration,drug quality control and safety evaluation to strengthen the guidance of clinical treatment.
