The efficacy of Jintiange capsules combined with etanercept treatment on ankylosing spondylitis

More and more young are troubled by ankylosing spondylitis(AS), a high morbidity disease leading to social and family trouble. This experiment designed to investigate the clinical efficacy of Jintiange capsules combined with etanercept treatment on AS. Total of 120 patients with AS were randomly divided into experimental group and control group(each group contains 60 cases). Experimental group was given Jintiange capsules combined with etanercept treatment, while control group were given etanercept treatment. Then we compared indicators BASDAI grade, rachialgia, ESR, complement C3, complement C4, and hs-CRP in the two groups. Result showed the two groups demonstrated similar efficacy in short-term treatment, but after long-term course of treatment, the experimental group showed improved symptoms and the indicators, as compared with control group(P 0.05). All the result suggested the treatment of Jintiange capsules combined with etanercept is more effective than etanercept alone, and should be used widely in clinical practice.
