Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of Halotherapy in patients with bronchial asthma. To explore the changes of IL-4、IFN-γ and IgE.To explore the mechanism of the treatment of asthma. Methods A total of 40 patients older than or equal to 14 years of age with newly diagnosed bronchial asthma were collected in random at Lung Disease Hospital of Fujian Fuzhou.Halotherapy group 25 cases were treated with rock salt aerosol treatment.Control group of 15 cases were treated with the inhalation treatment of GINA.All patients were treated continuously for 90 days. Results Halotherapy group patients and control group patients, peripheral blood IL-4,IgE were significantly lower than before treatment,IFN-γ were significantly higher than before treatment. After treatment,IL-4,IgE and IFN-γ had no significant difference in the salt treatment and control groups. Conclusion Halotherapy can reduce the patients peripheral blood IL-4 and IgE,and increase IFN-γ.It shows that Halotherapy is a good non-drug therapy for the treatment of bronchial asthma
