摘要

We demonstrated ~50 W of power at 1030 nm out of a ~70 mm long diode-clad-pumped ‘Yb:YAG-core/undoped-YAG-clad’ fiber. This was achieved with optical-to-optical efficiency of ~70%. Further development based on ‘crystalline-core/crystalline-clad’ (C4) fibers is discussed.
