Review of Effect on Heat-generating Plaster Therapy for Chronic Prostatitis

Objectives The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of Heat-generating plaster therapy on Chronic prostatitis Methods We searched articles from Academic Journals(CAJ) online databases. Searching keywords were ‘貼敷’, â€˜æ ¢æ€§å‰åˆ—è ºç‚Žâ€™, ‘敷貼’, â€˜æ ¢æ€§å‰åˆ—è ºç‚Žâ€™. Results Among the articles published until October 2017, The 18 articles were found. After reviewing the title, abstract and original article, the 3 articles were selected finally to rule out completely different prescriptions. Conclusions The effect of Heat-generating plaster therapy on symptoms such as urinary frequency, dysuria, nocturia and sexual dysfunction due to chronic prostatitis was satisfactory. Especially the method is simple and safe, easy to use, patient-friendly, and convenient. Keywords: Heat-generating, Plaster therapy, Chronic prostatitis, Patient-friendly
