Abstract
The optimal management of cardiac allograft vasculopathy (CAV) is uncertain. Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has been considered palliative due to high restenosis rates, but remains an alternative to retransplantation. Drug eluting stents (DES) were shown superior to bare metal stents, and recently bioresorbable scaffolds (BRS) have been proposed, but data are still scarce.
