摘要
Laminin LM is heterotrimeric large molecular weight glycoprotein that forms a crucial component of the basal lamina or basement membrane of most tissues LMs are integral for cell adhesion proliferation survival migration and differentiation Several studies have used a LM coated D substrate for the culture and maintenance of stem cell phenotype in vitro Recent studies have reported that LM can also be incorporated in D scaffolds for tissue engineering applications This article illustrates the bioactivity and regenerative potential of LM protein in D scaffolds for skeletal muscle nerve vascular and intervertebral disc regeneration
