Research on Screening Algorithm of Active Splitting Surfaces Based on Disturbed Trajectory

Active splitting can prevent the expansion of accidents effectively, and the determination of reasonable splitting section is the core of active splitting control. An initial screening algorithm of active splitting surfaces based on time-domain simulation is proposed. First, system complementary clusters under different instability faults are determined based on extended equal area criterion (EEAC) clustering method, and it is clustered to obtain the set of all potential generators group combinations of the system under current operating mode. Finally, the initial splitting surfaces considering the grid structure are presented. An example analysis based on the actual power grid shows that the method is not only clear in physical meaning, but also easy to operate.
