Abstract
This paper analyzes the magneto-optical measurement technology based on the Faraday magneto-optical effect. First, the principle of magneto-optical measurement technology is introduced, and the functional relationship between the photoelectric conversion voltage V and the magnetic induction intensity B is derived. Then the model of the magneto-optical measurement technology is realized by using experimental data and nonlinear fitting algorithms. Finally, it lists the applications based on magneto-optical measurement technology, and focuses on the application in transmission lines. This paper proposes to use the phase of the photoelectric conversion voltage waveform to reflect the phase of the current in the transmission line to achieve phase differenctial protection. This method is applying for a patent.
