摘要
The cyberbullying and bullying are two phenomena that are getting a lot of attention in recent times, since quite often we turn to violent situations. This work aims to determine the relationship between the metacognitive processes and the strategies of coping (CS) issued in these situations in a sample consisting of 174 university students. The ECIPQ (Brighi et al., 2012a), EBIPQ (Brighi et al., 2012b), Brief-Cope (Perczek et al., 2000) and IHM (Nacimiento, Rosa and Mora-Merchan, 2012) questionnaires are applied. The variables are analyzed via analysis of binomial logistic and linear regression. The results show that there is indeed prediction between them, except for the metacognitive skills, which do not explain, directly, the degree of involvement as a victim in these situations, though they do so through the CS. Hence, the importance of considering the mental processes that take place before running the observable behaviors.
