Comparison of Magnetodynamic Properties on Square Patterned of FeGab and Al 2O 3/FeGaB Thin Films

In this report, patterned FeGaB and Al2O3/FeGaB thin films possessing the low damping have been achieved. The 15 nm of FeGaB shows a lower damping factor (~0.0071) than that of the Al2O3/FeGaB thin film. From the results of static magnetization (Magneto-Optical Kerr Effect), the coercive field and magnetic anisotropy is increased for Al2O3/FeGaB thin film. The magnetic anisotropy of Al2O3/FeGaB film causes the magnetic domain evolution at 10.2 Oe, which is larger than that of FeGaB thin film. Using micromagnetic simulation, the magnetic domain wall velocity finds lager velocity for the FeGaB thin film due to the low anisotropy and the influence of spin - orbit coupling. Therefore, these studies conclude to employ for microwave, and spintronic applications.
