Measurement and analysis of Electromagnetic Environment of ±500 kV Double-Circuit DC Transmission Lines on the Same Tower

Xiluodu HVDC project is the largest transmission capacity and the longest transmission distance double circuit DC transmission project on the same tower in the world. Power transmission from Xiluodu right bank power station to Guangdong ± 500 kV DC transmission line is two ± 500 kV DC transmission lines on the same tower, and the rated transmission capacity of 2*3200 MW. At present, more attention has been paid to the calculation of electromagnetic environment in the design process of ±500 kV Double Circuit DC transmission line, such as the arrangement of pole wires and the distance to the ground, but there is no analysis of electromagnetic environment test during the operation of ± 500 kV Double Circuit DC transmission line with the same tower. In order to study the environmental impact of the electromagnetic environment parameters of ±500 kV Double-Circuit DC Transmission Lines on the Same Tower during the operation period, the electromagnetic environment of DC transmission lines was measured under different DC power at different erection method in the Xiluodu DC project operation phase. Analysis results show that On the one hand, When the double circuit lines on the same tower of Xiluodu DC line are all electrified, the curve of the measured value of the ground total electric field strength is consistent with that calculated by the step by step mirror method. It is verified that the research on the calculation of electromagnetic environment factors can effectively reflect the level of electromagnetic environment during operation in the early stage of DC line project, and effectively avoid the disputes caused by electromagnetic environment after operation. On the other, the electromagnetic environment influence of ± 500 kV Double-Circuit DC Transmission Lines on the Same Tower charged operation on double transmission line is smaller charged operation on single transmission line. The measured values of total electric field strength, ion current density, audible noise, radio interference meet the national standard and industry standard regulations.
