Las ordenaciones sacerdotales en el Arzobispado de México en tiempos de la insurgencia, 1810-1821: The priestly ordinations in the Archbishopric of Mexico during the insurgency, 1810-182

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the creation of new secular priests in the archbishopric of Mexico during the period of the Independence War in New Spain (1810-1821) by a logbook of priestly orders. The text discusses the main opinions of the archbishops of Mexico about their priests during the period studied; also it explains the differences about the participation of the clergy in the insurgency and, finally, presents the data of the numerical evolution of the clergy.
