Research on Data Transmission and Storage Methods in FPGA-based DMD Devices

The existing methods can only display grayscale images or scrolling display binary images, and they cannot scroll the display of grayscale image which required to be completed in scanning maskless lithography system. In this paper, a scheme for improvement in data transmission and storage is proposed to realize scrolling display of grayscale images. In addition, the data of images can be updated when DMD is displaying. Finally, experimental results based on DLP Discovery 4100 platform illustrate that the proposed methods are effective.
