A temática HIV/AIDS e os medicamentos antirretrovirais no Ensino Médio: o entretecer da educação sexual e o ensino de química

There is a significant increase in HIV infections in youth, so addressing the issue of HIV / AIDS is essential in the Brazilian educational context. The objective of this work was to promote reflections on the subject of HIV/AIDS through a didactic sequence focused on sex education in the context of teaching chemistry. The project was developed with 22 students of the third year of high school, at night. The didactic sequence was divided into three stages: (i) the written description of a seropositive person and the presentation of the documentary Positivas; (ii) a class with an experimental activity on the viral cycle and; (iii) a class on antiretroviral drugs. As a result, it provided students with a space for reflections and discussions on the stigma attached to seropositivity, questions about sexuality and the identification of the importance of chemical knowledge for the production of antiretroviral drugs.
