摘要
•Nanoscale FeCr alloy is electrodeposited from ChCl-EG (1:3) DES by optimizing cFe(II)/cCr(III).•The existence form and electrochemical behavior of Fe(II) and Cr(III) species are analyzed.•When cFe(II)/cCr(III) is 1:2, uniform nanocrystalline FeCr alloy possesses good corrosion resistance.
