The influence of sintering temperature on the mechanical evolution of Al2TiO5 flexible ceramics based on the acoustic emission

•AE is used to monitor, in real time, the damage process of AT flexible ceramics.•Big bodies fracture is the main source of AE events at initial stage.•The intergranular fractures are more likely to occur in S-13 and S-14.•The transgranular fractures are more prone to be generated in S-15 and S-16.
