Abstract
Compared with AC and DC electric field, high-voltage pulsed electric field discharge has more advantages in generating atmospheric pressure plasma. SiC MOSFET has great potential in high-voltage pulse modulators due to its good thermal stability and higher power density. Compared with the superposition of multiple energy storage modules, a single discharge module with a higher voltage level is more conducive to rapid turn-on and can better reduce the stray parameters of the discharge loop. In order to solve the problem of insufficient voltage level of a single switch, this paper proposes a through-core magnetic ring structure for the series connection of 30 3.3kV SiC MOSFET switches. Each switch has good consistency during turn-on and turn-off, and the maximum series device The voltage can reach 57kV The circuit is equipped with a current buffer circuit and a protection module to deal with overcurrent conditions during pulse discharge.
