Social mapping and education for development and global citizenship (EDGC) share among their goals a democratic and participatory perspective, a commitment to reflection and dialogue on social reality, an understanding of power dynamics, and an orientation towards change and transformation at the highest levels of social justice. That is why the mapping room was chosen as a tool to map experiences in EDGC in Galicia. The intention is to make these experiences visible while creating collaborative networks. The two mapping rooms which have been set up have enabled the creation of spaces for meetings, discussions and debates, which have resulted in both the collaborative construction of the room itself and the initial mapping of experiences in the context of EDGC.
