Vitamin C and Risk Of Breast Cancer

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient, has an antioxidant property concerning normal cells, protects against cancer and a pro-oxidant property at high concentration, the latter property is associated with anti-cancer activity. Some studies have shown a significant reduction in risk, others have found that there is no association between vitamin C intake and breast cancer risk, while other studies have shown that high concentration intake duct to increase the risk of breast cancer. Here, we review the studies conducted in this area.
