Peptides and Low Molecular Weight Polypeptides of Azadirachta Indica Seeds As New Weapons Against Cancer Cells and Superbugs

•Extraction, isolation, and precipitation of protein and peptides from the dry seeds of Azadirachta indica.•Electrophoresis was used to detect the peptides and low molecular weight polypeptides.•Peptides and polypeptides possessed excellent antimicrobial activities against different human pathogens including MRSA.•The extracted protein possessed anticancer activities at low IC50 concentrations.•The nature and structure of the peptides and polypeptides were detected by MALDI TOF/TOF and FTIR spectrometry.
