摘要
The aim of this study is to evaluate whether the replacement of corn starch energy by isolated soy protein and soy oil and the ambient temperature affect the calcium and phosphorus requirements for maintenance and gain of European quails. To estimate calcium and phosphorus requirements for maintenance, 432 European quails, 10 to 30 days old, were distributed in a completely randomized design, in treatments consisting of three diets, two temperatures and three levels of feed supply. The birds were housed in two rooms with controlled temperatures (26°C and 35°C), fed with three diets formulated with the replacement of corn starch (CS), corresponding to 15% of the ME of the diet, by the energy of isolated protein of soybean (IPS) and soybean oil (SO) and three levels of feed supply (ad libitum, 70, 40% of ad libitum consumption), with four replicates of 6 birds. Calcium and phosphorus requirements for gain were determined with 160 European quails, which were slaughtered every 5 days, that is, at 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 days of age. The birds were housed in 4 groups of 40 birds in a room with thermoneutral temperature (26°C). The energy sources of the feed and the temperatures studied affected the calcium and phosphorus requirements for maintenance and gain of European quails with 10 to 30 days of age.
