Abstract
In the past quality evaluation process of power cables, inspection report data only provided two classification information of qualified or unqualified, and a large amount of test data was wasted. Few researches evaluate the data of inspection reports and conduct a comprehensive evaluation of power cables based on test results. This paper proposes a method based on combined weighting and adaptive gray clustering. The clustering effect is measured by Silhouette Coefficient (SC) and the number of clusters is adjusted to achieve the best clustering effect. The cable quality is evaluated according to the clustering result. The effectiveness of the method is verified through comparative experiments.
