Abstract
This paper presents an electromagnetic and electromechanical hybrid simulation based on mosaik framework. The mosaik framework is an easy-to-deploy software package which is based on functional mock-up interface (FMI). Firstly, the method for acquiring samples of the network frequency response is presented, which is based on simplified models of power system components. Secondly, a revised vector fitting method is proposed to calculate the frequency dependent network equivalent (FDNE). Finally, the hybrid simulation is implemented by the mosaik framework, and the correctness of the method is verified by the New England 39 node system.
