Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional em comunidades quilombolas no Brasil: uma revisão da literatura indexada

The article consists of an analysis of the Brazilian indexed literature on Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) in communities in the databases Scielo, Lilacs, Medline, PubMed, and Portal Capes, based on the PRISMA methodological guidelines, using the descriptors: “food and nutritional security and quilombola (s)”; “SAN” and “quilombola(s)”, in Portuguese and English, included in the title, abstract and keywords.Twelve scientific articles published in open access journals since 2008 were selected. Of the articles selected, 33,33% addressed the prevalence of Food and Nutrition Insecurity (FNI), 25% access to the Food Acquisition Program (PAA), 16,67% the benefits of the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), 16,67% knowledge of food practices, and 8,33% causality models of FNI. The articles involved 60 communities of the five regions of the country. The findings reinforce the precarious conditions of life and FNI which the quilombolas have been experiencing. Continuing to identify the projects and publications carried out in this area is fundamental for the development of public policies, in order to improve the recognition, valorization and visibility to these communities.
