Abstract
In this paper, a time-domain analysis method for SLED pulse compression is proposed to solve the problem of slow time-domain simulation caused by narrow operating frequency bandwidth of SLED pulse compression system. According to the output of the simulation software, the calculation range of the frequency can be reduced quickly and finally converged to the working frequency bandwidth of the pulse compression system. The simulation results are consistent with the calculation results, which verify the effectiveness of the method. This method can effectively improve the time-domain simulation speed of SLED pulse compression system. The calculated output pulse waveform can clearly reflect the energy storage process and energy extraction process of pulse compression, which is more intuitive than the traditional frequency-domain analysis method, and can provide certain technical support for specific experiments.
