Abstract
To guarantee the reliable operation of integrated gas and system, it is essential to consider the reliability issues in the system planning. Considering that, this paper proposes the energy production element planning model of integrated gas and power systems considering the coordination between economic and reliability. Firstly, the reliability models of generating units and gas wells are proposed considering the failure characteristics. On this basis, the reliability constraints of IGPSs are developed considering the impacts of gas contingency on EPS operation. Furthermore, the economy-reliability-coordinated planning model is proposed to determine the deployment of gas storage and power units. The developed model is to minimize the total cost including investment cost, operating cost and load curtailment cost considering the operating constraints and reliability constraints of IGPSs. Finally, the test system composed of IEEE 30-node power system and Belgium 20-node natural gas system is utilized to verify the effectiveness of the model.
