Key Features Analysis of Transient Stability and its Application in Dynamic Security Assessment

With the development of UHV AC / DC hybrid power grid, transient stability is gradually becoming a key factor that affects the stability of power grid. In recent years, due to its superior performance, methods based on artificial intelligence are widely used in dynamic security assessment. Analysing key features of transient stability can effectively reduce the input dimension of the model and therefore promote their performance, besides, the dispatchers can also get more control guidance from the analysis results. In this paper, we propose a two-stage branch and bound method to analyse the key features of transient stability. This method can reduce the cost in time and space, and reduce the redundancy between key features at the same time. The proposed method is validated on New England 39-bus system.
