摘要
A multi-physics optimization workflow is presented where system level parameters of an automotive electric drive unit (EDU) application, are included as input parameters to the interior permanent magnet (IPM) traction motor parametrization. The aim is to produce detailed electric machine performance information across a wide design space and to enable system level tradeoffs to be made between the inverter, E-machine and transmission. This is accomplished through the use of surrogate models, computer aided engineering (CAE) simulation and ratio-based design space parametrization.
