The foxes are an exceptional adaptor usually prefers mixture of different ecosystems viz., grassland, coniferous, deciduous, tundra ecosphere and agro-ecosphere. Predators provides functional and productive role in the ecosystem mainly through nutrient cycling process and their detrimental impact on maintaining prey-predator system with ecosystem sustainability by hunting of small rodents, insects, rabbits, earthworms which helps in dispersion of seeds of many forest species by the process of endozoochory.
