摘要

We developed a method for the regioselective beta-trifluoromethylation of beta-silylated Zn(II) porphyrins by using a phenanthroline and triphenylphosphine-ligated trifluoromethyl-copper complex [(phen)(Ph3P)CuCF3]. The regioselective porphyrin trifluoromethylation, which occurs under mild conditions, exhibits excellent substrate generality and functional group compatibility.
