Abstract
Based on environment economics analysis, the methodology of the optimal capacity allocation of pumped hydro storage plant(PHSP) for the peak load regulation in power system with wind power integration considering environment benefit contribution degree(EBCD) is proposed. The indices named environment benefit contribution degree and economic benefit contribution degree(ECBCD) are presented, which evaluate the improvement of the green power and economic power by the PHSP separately. Based on EBCD, ECBCD and the well-being peak load regulation capacity requirement model, a model for optimizing the capacity of PHSP is established, which takes into account both EBCD and ECBCD of PHSP. The case studies were carried out for a power system, and the results verified the effectiveness and reasonableness of the presented model.
