Line Loss Analysis of Transformer District Based on Improved Weighted Grey Relational Analysis

The low-voltage transformer districts usually are with high line loss rate, so they are the focus of line loss management for power supply enterprises. Aiming at finding efficient way of loss reduction in the transformer district, a line loss analysis method based on improved weighted grey relational analysis is proposed in this paper. The key factors affecting line loss of different types of transformer districts are analyzed, giving valuable hints of reasonable measurements for loss reduction. Grey relational analysis (GRA) is used to establish the model of correlation between the transformer district line loss and the influencing factors. But the model is not conducive to identify the key factors because of the average weighting. To overcome the defect, criteria importance through intercriteria correction (CRITIC) method is introduced to calculate the objective weight of each influencing factor, then the modified correlation model enhances the identification ability of key factors. Furthermore, an artificial neural network is used to build the line loss calculation model based on critical correlation factors. The accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by simulations which are done with the actual low-voltage transformer district data of a certain area in Shandong Province, China.
