Abstract
The design of learning processes is an enrichment in the students' experiences, strengthening and developing the competences that allow them to transfer knowledge to any situation. However, the teacher frequently finds difficulties in carrying out the competence approach effectively, among other causes, due to the diversity of learning styles in the classroom. Therefore, the general objective of this paper is to offer a list of strategies that are not exclusive and that will help the teacher to treat the different contents based on the learning styles proposed by Felder and Silverman (1988) and the key competencies that they promote. In this way, you will be able to create more complete and effective instructional designs, selecting learning strategies based on the diversity of classroom styles and making sure you reach key competencies. This ensures a personalized education, taking into account the preferences of the students in terms of how they want the information presented to them, facilitating a more meaningful learning and a better application of knowledge to face real-life situations, where They can apply skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, argumentation and justification.
